Desktop Datacenter
This custom desktop datacenter was designed for Loophole Labs. They wanted a unique and memorable
design that would act as a housing for 3 Raspberry Pi 4's. To reduce the cost of manufacturing, I designed a a completely laser-cuttable
chassis to lower the cost over 60% from 3D printing manufacturing.
This was the final design that the company decided to go with. It uniquely resembles the company's logo without losing any functionality:
the clear panels can be easily detached as they are mounted with weak magnets; the top of the flask is laser cut from a light-diffusing material
to allow it to act as a status light; and the design allows for air to be circulated in from the base of the flask, around the Raspberry Pi's, and
out from the top and sides.
